The Nanotronics Machine Learning Engineer in our AI Lab is a smart, creative and passionate engineer who will work with our team in the development of the world’s ultimate integrated manufacturing platform. This position will be responsible for building the most implemented supervision and training platform across multiple industries, such as hypercar manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing and personalized medicine.
Salary Range: $132-297k per year

Education and Experience
- 2+ years’ experience or compensating advanced degree (Bachelor’s at minimum)
- Background in computer science, engineering, robotics, mathematics, physics or applied physics
- Primary focus on working with ML tools, setting up training pipelines, retaining and testing artifacts
Required Skills:
- Proven Machine Learning background and hands-on experience with various deep learning architectures
- Experience with tools for ML model development, training and deployment such as weights and biases, MLflow, cloud services and distributed model training and deployment experience
- Experience in Python, PyTorch, RNN, LSTM, multiprocessing, autoencoders, transformers, reinforcement learning, adaptive controls
- Knowledge of core data science, data visualization, and graphing techniques
- Applied mathematics
- Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time without excessive oversight
Responsibilities
- Automate the ML model lifecycle, i.e., develop, deploy, monitor and maintain scalable services and applications for our stakeholders to handle their machine learning training and inference needs in a quick, reliable and reproducible way
- Error analysis of trained machine learning models
- Design, train, improve and launch AI systems
- Continually work on improving the codebase and have active participation in all aspects of the team
- Integrate unstructured and timeseries data into production pipelines
- Collaborate with NLP and CV Engineers to plan and deploy data storage and processing systems for all types of data
