Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items for service at breakfast according to occupancy.
  • Maintain a constant and complete stock of food and beverage items during breakfast hours.
  • Set up service area each day in accordance to hotel standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area during and after breakfast hours.
  • Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest.
  • Maintain temperature log book (updated daily).
  • Assist management in daily, weekly and monthly food and supplies inventory.
  • Clean and maintain dry and cold storage daily.
  • Responsible for maintaining all food and beverage dates with date received in all dry and cold storage areas.
  • Prepare and stock everything needed for following day.
  • Operate all kitchen and breakfast room equipment correctly and safely
  • Know hotel emergency procedures.
  • Wear protective gear when handling food and chemicals.
  • Carry out any reasonable request by management if capable of performing.

Requirements
  • Preferred: at least 1 year experience in a Food & Beverage establishment.
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of Customer Service experience.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, and lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment.
  • Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions.
  • Must be available on weekends
