IGI Cybersecurity is looking for a Software Developer to join our growing team in the design and development of software solutions related to cybersecurity, specifically Nodeware®, our cutting-edge AI-driven vulnerability and attack surface management solution. The successful candidate will be able to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Responsibilities will include development, writing code, documenting functionality, and testing. The candidate should be able to work within a software development team environment and contribute to the overall deliverables of the roadmap and provide level 2/3 support troubleshooting complex production issues.
Responsibilities

Required Experience / Skills
- Individual should have experience with all of the following technologies and concepts.
- API architecture, development, and documentation (RESTful JSON, WebSockets, Swagger)
- Python 3.9+, Django Framework, DRF
- Relational Database experience (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Git and how to effectively utilize for project tracking
- Cloud development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- QA & Unit Testing
- Agile Development Methodology
- L3 Customer Support (specific to domain/product)
Desired Experience / Skills
- Experience or knowledge in any of the following technologies will be given special consideration.
- Serverless (Lambda)
- Secure Development Life Cycle (SDLC) focus
- Cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CEH, etc.)
- Vulnerability scanning (Nessus, Rapid7, Qualys, etc.)
- LLMs, specifically RAG or fine-tuning
