Essential Functions: 

·  Own and manage all IDEM and EPA programs

·  Maintain compliance for all regulatory requirements

·  Manage Title V permitting

·  Complete all storm water, waste water, and solids permitting and testing

·  Maintain positive relationships with all relevant agencies and stakeholders

·  Complete all reporting requirements accurately and timely

·  Stay up to date on compliance changes and how it impacts the company

·  Develop and execute environmental program

·  Identify areas for improvement and put together action plans

·  Maintain all logs and records both electronically and paper

·  Backup the Safety Manager

·  Keep positive attitude and be a team player

·  Maintain and perform team member training related to environmental compliance

·  Manage waste streams and develop projects to improve sustainability efforts

·  Other responsibilities as assigned

Education/Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years environmental experience preferably in foundry or manufacturing industries
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and requirements
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and/or approaches 
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, preferably Office 365
  • Ability to gather data, formulate statistical analysis and present recommendations

Pay will be based upon experience

Salary Description
$75,000 - $90,000/year
