Network Operations Manager

As a Network Operations Manager, you will lead and direct a talented team charged with carrying out monitoring, maintenance, availability, performance, and integrity of the Leapfrog and Leapfrog client IT systems and infrastructure. The Network Operations Manager works in tight coordination with The Security Operations Manager, Support Engineering Manager, Support Center Manager, and Projects Manager. The Network Operations Manager must consider cloud-based solutions as part of the infrastructure toolkit and know how to leverage its benefits to deliver a competitive advantage for Leapfrog.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Master and maintain the systems used to monitor uptime, maintain patching, and guarantee system backups.
  • Lead modernization efforts to expand cloud infrastructure management.
  • Train, mentor, and manage the team to high-performing standards.
  • Lead efforts to invest in process automation of routine activities and monitoring responses.
  • Assist in planning and administering the team training program.
  • Serve as a point of escalation and subject matter expert for the team.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all internal departments and customers.
  • Assist in the development of standards, policies, and procedures for the team.
  • Promote a cross-functional working environment and participation in Leapfrog initiatives and events.
  • Represent the department in meetings and make effective communications/presentations of department services.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to escalate issues and tickets to ensure the proper resources are involved with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Monitor team performance and communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate leave schedules and PTO to ensure there is sufficient coverage for the team.
  • Backfill team coverage when necessary.
Requirements

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Be a thought leader in IT infrastructure operations delivery - driving automation, analytics, and process-based management
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of current system infrastructure, network hardware, protocols, and standards required
  • Management experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows, Windows Server
  • Experience maintaining and deploying systems management tools like Kaseya, ConnectWise, Autotask, Intune, etc.

  • Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE4 - NSE8
  • VMware VCP
  • Microsoft MCP
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Kaseya Certified Administrator
