Based on our growth, we are seeking a Regional Sales Executive to represent Vartek’s managed services and customized technology solutions for the K-12 educational marketplace in the Ohio market area. This is an important role requiring proven sales experience in new business development, territory management, and accessing top leadership in school districts (IE: Superintendents, school boards, Principals, etc.) to develop leads, new business opportunities and secure NEW customers. The REGIONAL SALES EXECUTIVE will work from the Vartek corporate office or be located regionally (IE: Dayton, Cincinnati or the Columbus markets) to support this position. The "right" sales professional will bring a minimum of 5-7 years of proven regional or direct sales experience and success working independently to prospect, qualify, develop, and close new business. Must be results-oriented and self-directed with a consultative sales approach. (Educational market or technology sales experience preferred.)
Primary Responsibilities – Regional Sales Executive
New business development – prospect, qualify, develop, and secure new business for Vartek’s technology services in K-12 schools.
Territory management (Ohio) and develop new customers through networking the local school districts, direct visits, phone call introductions, and email communication with Superintendents, school leadership, and other key decision makers to present the Vartek value proposition and establish Vartek as a solution-oriented technology resource partner.
Develop, present, and follow-up on presentations, RFPs, and proposals that support specific school requirements is needed.
Network and attend local school board meetings, network school leaders, attend sponsored or supported local events for referrals.
Work with the marketing department to develop strategies and sales support initiatives for l lead generation and sales.
