 Responsible for developing and creating visual content across multiple platforms, using both photography and video for creative agency cliental, as well as internal projects. Will have a strong drive to push creativity and strive to create fresh looking, original content.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Support project development, including storyboarding, prototyping, scriptwriting, and consulting with clients.

· Create videos, including shooting video, picking a layout and style, and developing content.

· Manage video production by collaborating with clients in setting schedules, budgeting, and evaluating progress.

· Record content using various professional video and still camera.

· Design, install and service audio-visual equipment.

· Maintain inventory to proper operating conditions.

· Save, transfer, and update video files from one device to another.

· Edit and add content to videos, including branding and advertising.

· Edit visual content to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects, to arrange video content into sequences, and to correct errors, using video equipment.

· Review assembled video content to determine if corrections are necessary.

· Prepare video content for multi-media end uses including web and other digital distributions.

· Encode and archive on-line videos.

· Track video analytics.

· Coordinate and manage media assets.

· Be a collaborative and contributing team member of Anvil NW.

· Stay current on latest trends, software, and equipment within the medium.

· Maintains confidentiality and discretion in all areas; including the dissemination of trade secrets, planning and promotional procedures and client information files.

Requirements

  

· Bachelor’s in Communications, Journalism, Film, Photography or equivalent experience.

· 4 years video content creation and storytelling experience or equivalent; strongly preferred.

· Exceptional core video skills, including a high command of video, sound, camera, lights, computers, and software used to produce visual and audio content is required.

· Knowledge of social media and how to engage audiences on digital platforms in the public space is essential.

· Must demonstrate a high command of video techniques through sophisticated craftsmanship.

· Competency in videography principles from scripting through final editing and show proficiency with branding guidelines using video motion software such as Motion, and or After Effects, Premiere and Final Cut Pro in an Apple Mac environment.

· Excellent technical knowledge of non-broadcast video equipment.

· Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and client relation skills.

· Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.

· Current and valid Oregon Drivers License with the ability to qualify for the UIDC’s Drivers Policy.
