FCH ORDER ASSEMBLING ASSOCIATE I
Description

 

The Order Assembly Associate works in a temperature-controlled, fast-paced environment. The associate in this position assembles clamshells into kits, according to customer orders. This teammate moves quickly from work station to other areas while the lines continue to operate. The teammate in this position must have strong initiative, organization skills, and communication skills. This position reports to the Packaging Supervisor. The teammate in this position must follow and understand Food Safety Compliance. Additionally, the teammate must follow direction from management as needed to meet departmental goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Packages customer orders into boxes with no errors and ensures that the information on the box is marked correctly
  • Checks customer purchase orders to ensure quantities are correct
  • Inserts herb packed clamshells into sleeves, wraps these sleeves with rubber bands, and then bags clamshells according to the customer orders
  • Inspects the quality of product prior to assembling
  • Communicates with Line Coordinators to keep teammates informed of product needs or changes that effects the team
  • Confirm all orders for accuracy prior to initialing them as complete
  • Confirms all information on Company’s packages such as; packaging date, labels on tubs, packed herbs
  • Maintains effective communication with all Line Coordinators
  • Assists Order Assembly with troubleshooting the labeling machines
  • Complies with all Food Safety and Safety requirements
  • Uses personal protective equipment as needed
  • Reports all observed safety hazards to the Production Supervisor
  • Attends all company training as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisors
  • Adheres to all company procedures and policies

  • Communicates well with all personnel to effectively and efficiently fulfill customer needs
Requirements

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Production or manufacturing setting experience 2+ Years of production or manufacturing setting experience
  • Bilingual, English & Spanish
  • Experience with Food Safety programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMPs, HACCP & Quality/Hold procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety Policy Statement
