Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • As the general manager, you’ll be able to apply your past retail leadership experience to set an inspirational tone for staff and guests by role modeling 5-star hospitality as well as coffee and food leadership.
  • Understand market-specific barriers to growth, mobilize resources to solve problems & drive priorities. Ensures management & staff are focused on effectively achieving top priorities.
  • Leverage business and planning expertise to ensure the successful execution of operations plans.
  • Develop multi-dimensional leaders through meaningful training and coaching conversations informed by observed performance across each employee's responsibilities.
Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Experienced manager or multi-unit leader with unique portfolio experience (i.e., high volume DTs, large square foot café with high merchandise sales, concept store(s), kiosks, etc.)
  • Ability to create and execute strategic initiatives at a rapid pace in an evolving and highly visible business environment
  • Ability to lead and develop staff with a proven track record of coaching high-performing teams
  • Ability to be flexible, navigate ambiguity, and adapt knowledge and experience to the needs of the business, staff, and guests.
  • Deep understanding of and demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Deep understanding of and demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Forward-thinking with strong decision-making capability and strength in problem-solving using a combination of established methods and external processes

  • Ability to uphold daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities of shop operations, such as scheduling, staff projections, and inter-departmental communications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of retail experience managing 2 or more stores, departments or units, P&L, inventory, operations, and customer service
  • 2+ years of management experience leading a team of 20 or more, including training and coaching, with strong leadership and communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service-oriented role
  • Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations, and financial reporting
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time or the entire shift
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
  • Operate and use all equipment necessary
  • Process information/merchandise through POS system
  • Handle food and hot beverages
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the shop
Salary Description
Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
