Digital Copywriter and Social Media Manager
Description

We are seeking a Digital Copywriter and Social Media Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team. This role will report directly to the CMO. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit as well as a curiosity for architecture, design, and the arts. Interested applicants must have previous experience in copywriting and successfully managing social media campaigns for brands and demonstrate the ability to analyze data to optimize content and grow our audience.

  

Responsibilities  

  • Collaborate with the marketing department to brainstorm and draft blog posts and a variety of marketing materials including staff bios and project descriptions for marketing collateral and website 
  • Liaise with Studio teams to stay updated on new projects and happenings as well as thought leadership topics  
  • Create campaign plans in collaboration with Marketing, PR, and Video teams to uphold brand consistency and voice across all social media channels 
  • Develop, lead, and actualize a thoughtful posting strategy and manage content calendars across RIOS-owned brands, providing engaging architecturally driven text, image, and video content for social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, and WeChat) 
  • Act as a channel owner, establishing and advising on best practices and overseeing responses and engagement to comments and queries in a timely manner 
  • Setting, monitoring, and providing monthly reporting on analytics using KPIs to inform and optimize our engagement and growth strategies  
  • Social listening to stay abreast of timely conversations, events, and brand activations in efforts to build community and boost brand awareness  
  • Stay up to date with cultural moments, social platform updates, digital and competitor + industry activity, and proactively share relevant updates with the Marketing team 
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of work experience as a community or social media manager 
  • Experience developing and launching creative community initiatives (e.g., ambassador program, event series) 
  • Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a multi-tasking role within a fast-paced environment 
  • Impeccable and creative verbal communication, organization, and writing skills (experience in architecture, design, or arts writing preferred) 
  • Knowledge of social media management tools like Later; Ability to interpret website traffic and online engagement metrics 
  • BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field 
Salary Description
$70,000+ DOE
