Summary of Role

It is the Substitute Teacher’s role to maintain a high-quality and safe learning environment for the children; deliver lesson plans; serve assigned duties (e.g. recess, traffic duty); leave notes for the Classroom Teacher at the end of each day; and assist with other assigned tasks.

Summary of Qualifications 

• Must have demonstrated experience and passion for working with children
• Must pass background check
• Must demonstrate current negative TB test results
• Must have degree in related field or equivalent work experience of 2-3 years
