Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides direct mental health clinical treatment to a variety of individuals which may include children/adolescents, adults and geriatric.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides evaluation/problem identification, crisis interventions, individual and/or group therapy to clients
- Develops, monitors, and follow up of client case management treatment plans
- Collaborates with other Centennial services providers to engage clients in care
- Works with psychiatrist or medical team when client is in need of medications
- Coordinates client use of additional Centennial programs and outside community resources
- Provide services in a variety of settings
- Serve on emergency rotation schedule to provide 24 hour on-call services to emergent situations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Center and industry standards
- Participates in meetings and in services
- Participates in supervision sessions
- Performs other job duties as assigned
PAY RANGE & STIPENDS:
- $55,600 - $69,500/yr (candidate position) or $64,500 - $80,633/yr (licensed position)
- Additional In-Person Annual Stipend available for (2 or more days per week in person) positions of $1,200
- Additional In-Person County Annual Stipend available for designated locations (Akron, CO/Burlington, CO/Cheyenne Wells, CO/Holyoke, CO/Julesburg, CO/Limon, CO/Wray, CO/Yuma, CO) of $5,000
Requirements
EDUCATION:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services Field
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
- Registered in the State of Colorado as a Candidate
- Active License in the State of Colorado as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW (licensed position only)
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work well with special populations along with maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy
- Able to identify and nurture strengths and support client rights to make independent decisions
- Skill to serve culturally diverse populations that may have a bearing on service provision
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with the DSM and diagnostic techniques.
- Demonstrates effective time management and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work as a team member
- Knowledge of basic computer literacy such as e-mail communication and word processing
- Ability to work flexible and on-call hours, which may be required
- Ability to travel within the Center’s service area or to other locations as needed
Salary Description
$55,600-$69,500/yr MS or $64,500-$80,633/yr Lic.
