What is the role of the Asphalt Paving Division?

The Asphalt Paving Division is in the Construction Group. Our paving crews place asphalt on our jobs all throughout the low country. Our crews will do anything – commercial/private jobs to interstate jobs.

What is an Asphalt Paving Technician?

This person shovels asphalt, lutes asphalt to grade, and assists the rest of the crew with various tasks.

What you will get to do:

• Learn all about the asphalt paving operation
• Be a part of paving parking lots, secondary roads, ports, and interstates
• Lute asphalt to grade
• Shovel asphalt where needed
