Consumer Fresh Produce, Inc. is the region’s first-choice wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, offering a full line of conventional products.   We're committed to excellence and customer satisfaction and are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on overseeing operations in our warehouse.

The Warehouse Team Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all shift warehousing activities. This role ensures that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, and employee performance. This position involves working with multiple teams inside the organization to maintain and meet on-time delivery of product orders to our customers. 

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

     Assign and manage workload among warehouse staff to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

  1. Enforce food safety policies and workplace safety procedures.
  2. Perform quality control and order accuracy checks on customer orders, address discrepancies promptly.
  3. Maintain a properly trained and efficient warehouse team.
  4. Collaborate and at times assist the Transportation Dispatch Supervisor to coordinate timely deliveries.
  5. Assist the Will Call clerk with collection of paperwork and processing of customer payments as needed.
  6. Organize replenishment of picking tiers and direct staff accordingly.
  7. Operate RF scanning equipment for order checking, receiving, order picking, put-away, and labeling.
  8. Support staff with order selection when needed.
  9. Communicate product quality or quantity issues with Warehouse Operations Manager, Sales, or Buyers.
  10. Report and/or correct safety hazards immediately to ensure a secure working environment.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse according to company sanitation SOPs.

Requirements

  

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

· High school diploma or GED required;   relevant experience may substitute for education.

· 5+ years of warehouse operations experience, including forklift and pallet jack usage required with equipment   license.

· 3+ years in management or supervisory roles preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.

· Experience working with produce strongly   preferred.

      

· Language: Able to read/follow instructions and communicate strategies clearly (verbally and electronically).

· Reasoning:  Strong common-sense approach; able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

· Physical: Able to stand for long periods in cool, damp environments; lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.


Computer: Experience with MS Office (Word & Excel), ERP/WMS (Produce Pro preferred), tablets, and scan guns; able to interpret data reports.
