About The Role

Our business is looking for a talented and qualified Logistics Administrator to join our team. As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for order management and providing exceptional customer service to clients, carriers, and key partners. You will solve client and carrier problems and resolve any issues/escalations that arise. 


What You Will be Doing

  • Track and trace all shipments from the point of dispatched on through final delivery.
  • Verify all delivery orders and bills of lading have been received and are correct
  • Packing list generation
  • Produce and manage carrier checklist 
  • Data entry in the system – ensure that data is accurately keyed in the system and input any missing data (order management)
  • Ensure that all documentation is processed in a timely manner
  • Process paperwork out to Operations 
  • Communicate daily with carriers, project managers, and other departments, including managers and/or supervisors when issues arise.
  •  Monitor and report any level of service failures to the Distribution Director
  • Perform additional job-related duties as specified by management
  • Collect, document, and pass on accurate information to/from Carriers/Drivers/General Contractors and our Internal Departments.
  • Document all correspondences, issues and service deviations with carrier/driver and customer representative as they occur or as information is received.
  • Scanning, filing and work with accounting to assure all final rate sheets are accurate and 
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements
  • A high  school diploma or GED required. 
  • Experience in a logistics environment is preferred 
  • Excellent & effective written, listening, verbal and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to plan, organize & prioritize workload based on company objectives
  • Highly detailed oriented & results driven; proven ability to perform at a high level consistently
  • Achieve or exceed all performance-based goals & deadlines
  • Displays strong a ‘work until it’s done’ attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
