III. Job Purpose

To assist guest’s on selected holes during their round in locating their golf ball after tee shots. Also to maintain a positive and enthusiastic personality to help in creating a 2nd to none golf experience.

  • Responsible For:
  • Being prompt for your report time and gathering all needed materials and chairs for the day.
  • Being attentive and standing up when every group comes on to a tee box.
  • Watching and locating every player’s tee shot in the group.
  • Giving the tee box a hand signal to inform them if the ball is in the fairway, rough, fescue, or bunker.
  • Marking the tee shots not in the fairway with a flag so they will not be lost.
  • Greeting all players with a friendly hello and informing them you have found the ball.
  • If you have not located it continue to help them look and inform them it is in this area but sat down in the fescue.
  • Wish them an enjoyable rest of their round upon departing your hole.
  • Be outgoing and personable with all caddies and guests, as it shows we enjoy our experience out there.


V. Scheduling

  • Expected to work 2-4 shifts per week. Shifts are usually 8-9 hours long and involve spending the day located on one particular hole with a chair exposed to the elements. We will provide a chair, umbrella and water container and will check and give breaks to get water and go to the bathroom. You are encouraged to bring snacks and other personal items with you.


VI. Qualifications

  • Will be expected to have a clean appearance while on property, including uniform
  • Position requires the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, 5 lbs constantly
