Description

Join our team as an Embroidery Machine Operator 1, where your precision and creativity will bring designs to life on a variety of textiles.  In this role, you will be an integral part of our production team, operating state-of-the-art embroidery machines to produce high-quality, customized products.  Your attention to detail and passion for craftmanship will contribute to our reputation for excellence and innovation in the industry.


Work Location: Morgan City, LA


Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ability to read and interpret design specifications, patterns, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate output.
  • Produce embroidery orders in a timely manner.
  • Quality control on orders completed.
  • Perform regular maintenance and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as needed to the Embroidery Supervisor.
  • Track production on in-house production tracker.
  • Ability to operate multiple 6 head machines.
  • Take inventory on merchandise received is correct for orders.
  • Understand the required backing material, thread and needles per garment material.
  • Create sew out quality by verifying correct colors and size of logo(s).
  • Must inspect and prepare the finished garment for order completion.
  • Help maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Place finish goods in designated areas.
  • Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
  • Ensure all supplies are kept in ample stock.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong desire to learn.

Physical Requirements:

To perform the essential functions of this job, an employee must be able to meet the following physical demands:

  • Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 15-35 pounds throughout the day.
  • Must know how to read measurements.
  • During peak seasons weekends may be required, and overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam, drug and alcohol test.


Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • Proven experience operating embroidery machines
  • one year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
