Description
Just a short distance from Lake Winnipesaukee, is the Summit Resort conveniently located in the Lakes Region. The Housekeeper for The Summit Resort performs three general functions: 1) Cleans assigned guest rooms for check in, 2) Services assigned occupied rooms and 3) Responds to guest requests as they arise during the work day.
- Ensures the cleanliness and proper wear of uniform.
- Evaluates assignment list for the day, and plans its execution in the most efficient way possible.
- Works in teams or alone to execute assignment list.
- Ensures proper stocking, organization and functioning of supply bag, cleaning caddy, vacuum, and lockers at the start and end of each day.
- Knows how to complete the 4 basic tasks of turning a room: stripping, cleaning, stocking and formatting.
- Can perform these room-turn tasks to a high quality standard, and consistently perform them an established time standard.
- Alerts Houseman on-duty when deficiencies in closet or room resources impede housekeeping tasks.
- Recognizes issues that require Manager attention, and alerts Manager On Duty as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Possesses ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and via radio.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, moving furniture in order to clean around it, traversing stairs and step stools safely, and engaging in repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of attentiveness to detail over an entire shift.
