Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Analysis Engineer I performs proprietary software configuration and quality control operations to ensure high quality image analysis data in support of clinical trials and research. The Clinical Analysis Engineer I is thoroughly familiar with medical imaging, radiographic assessments, and a wide variety of medical treatments and devices.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work extensively with medical imaging (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, angiography, ultrasound, etc.)
  • Rapidly become intimately acquainted with design and functionality of proprietary software
  • Create and manage proprietary software configurations for clinical trial databases
  • Perform regulatory software verification activities related to project-specific configurations
  • Generate protocol-specific materials to support training of analysts and physician readers
  • Organize images and related data for scientific publications and presentations
  • Conduct QC of quantitative and qualitative results by visual inspection of medical images
  • Generate and approve customer deliverables
  • Respond to technical inquiries made by internal team members and consultants
  • Assist with preparing technical content for consulting services and client follow-up
  • Support MMI’s strategic objectives for growth and penetration of new therapeutic areas
  • Understand MMI’s Quality Policy and support the achievement of the organization’s quality objectives
  • Comply with MMI’s policies and procedures, as well as ISO 9001:2015 and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) relative to job tasks
  • Ensures compliance with HR policies and procedures
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS in engineering, life sciences, or related discipline; MS preferred
  • Research or industry experience in a technical role; experience with medical imaging and clinical applications strongly preferred.
