Position Overview

This position provides a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of perennials, annuals, and/or shrubs and trees. It also provides many opportunities to assist customers in successful plant selections and combinations as well as providing physical activity in our beautiful gardens and outdoor environment.

Responsibilities Can Include

• Welcome and assist customers in finding the appropriate plants for their site, through knowledge of plant characteristics, cultural needs and basic design principles.  
• Ensure the highest quality plants in retail areas.
• Help design and maintain retail plant displays.
• Process shipments from suppliers.
• Heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required; must be able to move carts of plants.
• Cashiering

Hours/Seasons

Part to full time seasonal hours. Holidays, weekends and evenings may be required in peak season and as needed the remainder of the year.
