Cowboy Jobs Available at all Yard Locations

Boardman, OR | Hermiston, OR| Nyssa, OR | Quincy, WA

Main Job Duties:

• Pen Riders at Beef Northwest spend the day riding pens, evaluating cattle
• Identifying sick animals and making accurate pulls
• Shipping, receiving and moving animals on the yard

Compensation Package:

• Pen Rider Horse Allowance: Quarterly up to $2,000 every 3 months
• Board for Horses being utilized on the yard - up to 4 horses
• Hay and Shoes provided for up to 4 horses
• Company horses available for use
• Performance and Safety Bonuses paid quarterly
• Company Housing assistance depending on location and availability
• Health, Dental, Vision insurance after 60 days $68/month for a single employee,  $204/month for employee and family

• Extensive stockman ship and horsemanship preferred (2+ years)
• Ability to safely mount, ride, and utilize horses on a feedyard
• Experience working with, and moving livestock
• Experience identifying and treating sick animals

• An attentive eye for detail and ability to count cattle
