This role engages cross-functionally with Marmoset’s sales, finance and marketing teams to share findings and research-backed insights to help make sound decisions that will grow Marmoset’s business. The Financial Analyst dives deep into past financial performance to predict future performance and offer analysis on Marmoset’s financial strategy, sales strategy and revenue goals. The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of accounting experience, including month-end close; proven knowledge of various financial forecasting, reporting and modeling; acute attention to detail and process; and stellar communication skills. This is a full-time role with the opportunity for flexible, hybrid work.
Basics: You’re known for being very detail-oriented and have a drive for organization that keeps you learning and developing new systems and processes. Analytical and thorough are two words that describe you well. Gaining leadership skills is on your future goals list. You enjoy connecting with new people and maintaining relationships.
Personality: A self-starter with a contagious “can-do” attitude. You’re driven by an inherent desire to help others, solve problems and maintain harmony. A natural project manager and leader. You welcome criticism and often seek critical feedback. Able to stay calm, manage stress, and succeed in a fast paced, often distracting environment. Managing microscopic details sounds like fun.
Abilities: Strong attention to detail, fast learner, excellent communicator. You are able to take a stacked to-do list and quickly and efficiently whittle it down. You’re a master of spreadsheets and numbers. You hold efficiency in high esteem and can develop and execute better processes when needed.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of accounting experience required. You’ve worked on a team where your strong attention to detail and highly organized attributes made an impact. Proficient in Excel. Experience with Intacct or Sage products would be great (but not required).

Pay: This is an early- to mid-career level role with pay commensurate.
