Position Summary:

The manufacturing training coordinator II is responsible for performing a wide variety of activities to progress the training program for cell therapy operations at Poseida. This position will be responsible for creating and assigning training curriculum, providing hands on instructor led trainings, as well as performing audits for the cell therapy manufacturing and support functions. The trainer will be responsible for developing training for Poseida’s cell therapy platform and associated equipment. The trainer will collaborate with Quality and Quality Systems to ensure that all GxP trainings are provided, as well as track the individual training and qualification as required for the manufacturing team. The trainer is critical to the success of the manufacturing organization and Poseida’s pipeline

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing and coordinating all training related activities for the Manufacturing group, including collaboration with key personnel from other departments to ensure proper implementation of Poseida policies and procedures
  • Build training presentations regarding procedures, expectations, GMP requirements, and general information towards qualification of manufacturing personnel
  • Lead and/or coordinate technical training facilitation and qualification
  • Deliver, document, and track training activities per applicable SOPs
  • Assist with tracking and the utilization of Poseida’s Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Prepare and communicate monthly metrics as required
  • Perform compliance audits for the manufacturing organization to ensure compliance
  • Assist in change controls, CAPAs, and deviations as needed in collaboration with manufacturing support functions

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree with >2 years of experience in GMP manufacturing in biotech/pharma industry
  • Previous experience as training coordinator and/or training role
  • Good knowledge of cell therapy and/or biotech cGMP aseptic manufacturing requirements
  • Previous experience working with a Learning Management System
  • Ability to relay technical information in simple and efficient format for trainees
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
  • Highly motivated with good organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or in team environment with minimal supervision
  • Good computer skills in database management or spreadsheet management

Pay Range: $35.10/hour to $43.75/hour

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
