The Port offers the following benefits to full-time employees (30 hours per week or more), and to part-time employees working 20 hours or more per week on a regular basis. Medical and dental premiums are paid in full by the Port for employee and family. For part-time employees, the Port pays the employee premium, and the employee can opt to add and pay premiums for dependents.
Medical:
- WA State’s Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB), choice of 9 plans, Port paid premiums
- Port HSA/VEBA contribution with choice of high deductible plan
- HRA plan for co-insurance reimbursement
Dental:
- Port paid premiums
- Preventative care 100%, Basic care 80%, Major care 50%, Orthodontia 50% to $1,000 max
Life and AD&D:
- $50,000 Port-paid term life insurance
- Optional supplemental coverage available
Long-Term Disability:
- Port paid premium
- 60% of salary after 90 day waiting period up to $5,000/mo.
Retirement:
- Washington State Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), Plans 2 or 3
- Optional Deferred Compensation Plan
Leave Plans:
- Vacation: 12 days minimum, 28 days maximum accrual
- Sick Leave: 12 days per year
- Holidays: 12 days per year
- Paid Parental Leave: 8 weeks at 80% pay
- Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML), Port voluntary plan in compliance with WA State law
