Job Summary:

The Program Operation Specialist works directly with the Interim Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations and alongside the Program Operations team to ensure that the school is run in an orderly and effective manner. Key responsibilities include recruitment and enrollment management, administrative support, event planning support, and supporting the program operational systems and infrastructure of the school.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support the planning and execution of student recruitment related activities
  • Ensure that all appropriate paperwork is gathered during the enrollment process
  • Execute and enhance processes and enrollment metrics that align with the goals of the organization, including data management
  • Monitor the reporting of student enrollment metrics, outcomes statistics to various stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with Communications team members to market the school through social media, flyering, promotional videos, and other audio, digital and print outlets. 
  • Manage all incoming calls regarding recruitment and enrollment
  • Provide assistance to the DoSIO to support planning school events, and staff meetings 
  • Assist with the planning, organizing and coordinating functions relating to the program operation
  • Manage Student and alumni records
  • Other duties as assigned by the Interim Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations 
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in recruitment, marketing, education and/or customer service (or some combination demonstrating readiness for the role)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute initiatives, and work collaboratively relative to a school-wide recruitment program
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events
  • Ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in a student services environment, and a strong commitment to customer service with students, colleagues, and community partners
  • Experience with school compliance and/or the desire to learn 
  • Represent YouthBuild at public events and interface with partners and funders, as necessary
  • Mentor YB students/alumni and consistently engage directly with young people in school-wide spaces

  • PATCH - Pennsylvania Police Department - Criminal Background Check (and/or applicable based on State of residency)

  • Act 24 - Arrest Conviction Form
  • NSOPW - National Sex Offender Clearance
