We are hiring a 2nd shift line leader to join our team! This position provides manufacturing support in a team environment.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

· Operates machines as necessary

· Assists with start up procedures in a timely manner

· Maintains quality product within the designated cell

· Performs visual inspections, reviews documentation, and audits production processes

· Insures proper identification of product within the cell

· Trains machine operators on proper loading/unloading of product, proper gauging and interpretation of readings, tool changing, and any other functions of the machine as necessary

· Maintains a safe, clean work area

· Maintains a 5S (Visual Factory) work cell

· Maintains adequate material within the cell

· Reports final production quantities and machine downtime

· Communicates to the supervisor on the status of the cell

· Strives for continuous improvement of the work cell

· Relieves operators for breaks and lunches

Requirements

Education and Experience:    

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 1 - 2 years of experience in an industrial environment preferred

· Ability to become certified to drive a fork truck

· Employees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary
