Description

Cedar Valley Digestive Health Center, a branch of CVMS, is currently looking for an RN to provide care to our patients.  The RN is accountable for assessing patient needs over the phone, coordination of nursing care in conjunction with the physician plan of care.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: phone triage, medication management, diagnostic imaging orders, assessment, and patient education.   


Responsibilities:

- Assess patient needs over the phone or in person and determine the appropriate course of action

- Provide patient education and support

- Communicate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

- Document patient information accurately and efficiently

- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy

- Assist with other clinical duties as needed



Requirements

 

Requirements

- Active nursing license in good standing

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems 

- Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.

- Excellent critical thinking skills
