Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining all Canarchy Quality Guidelines
- Work with other Operations General Managers to ensure effective communication and coordination between production departments
- Guide the Cellar and Blending managers and teams in the proper execution of the day-to-day facilities tasks
- Oversee regular internal inventory audits and ensure reports are accurate and submitted timely
- Respond quickly and connect relevant parties when problems arise and/or schedules require modification
- Engage in continual improvement projects and always strive to make operations smooth, efficient, and of the highest quality
- Ensure relevant teams are compliant with all company polices and safety guidelines
- Lead the Cellar and Blending teams in providing a reliable and consistent work environment that promotes the individual and collective success of employees and managers
- Monitor the brewery operational metrics and make recommendations on identified trends to either re-enforce positive trends or take corrective action
- Continually evaluate all brewery processes, personnel, and infrastructure systems
- Communicate effectively and timely using email, phone, text, and verbal tools
- Set a good example for safety in the workplace
- Promote and work with the brewery safety coordinator(s) and CANarchy safety director(s) to ensure all policies are adhered to and supported
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned
- Maintain 5S standards across the brewery
- Communicate any product availability issues to director
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrate leadership and facilitate communication between departments
- 5+ years leadership experience in a production environment
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and ability to multi-task
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate willingness to ask questions before proceeding with unsurety
- Demonstrate responsible and well-informed decision making
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 30-165 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
