Description

The Ronald Blue Trust Summer Internship Program is a structured 8-week program during the summer that provides undergraduate or graduate students an introduction to Ronald Blue Trust's unique culture and exposes each student to specific divisions or departments within our company.


The 2024 Internship Program will run from Monday, June 3, 2024 through Friday, July 26, 2024.  Interns work 40 hours per week during this time.


We offer Financial Planning Internships within our Private Wealth division in our Office Locations across the country as well as several internship experiences in our Corporate Office in Alpharetta, GA.  


The below locations/ divisions are hosting Financial Planning Interns:

Atlanta, GA Office

Charlotte, NC Office

Greenville, SC Office

Holland, MI Office

Houston, TX Office

Indianapolis, IN Office

Maryland Office

Nashville, TN Office

Orange County, CA Office

Walnut Creek, CA Office


The below National Office departments/ divisions are hosting Interns:

Branding and Communications Department- National Office- Alpharetta, GA

Family Office Division- National Office-Alpharetta, GA

Investment Department-National Office- Alpharetta, GA

Intuitional Division-National Office- Alpharetta, GA

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Works on assigned project(s) and creates presentation to be delivered at the end of internship assignment
  • Seeks ways, through intern role, to actively contribute to and participate in the work of the Office
  • Approaches work, interactions, and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company’s Core Values
  • Understands the counsel and biblical basis upon which Ronald Blue Trust serves its client base
  • Maintains the highest Compliance standards by adhering to the company’s Human Resources guidelines, Compliance policies and procedures, professional designation standards, and industry's regulatory standards to mitigate risk to the company
Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Aptitude and passion for learning new things quickly with a strong work ethic
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and maturity
  • Desire to serve others with excellence
  • Capability to excel in a team environment
  • Good organizational skills, systems acumen, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple time-sensitive tasks
  • Proactive planning and responsiveness to urgent need

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Strong academic performance and at least one semester remaining in undergraduate or graduate program after completion of internship
  • Actively enrolled students in their junior or senior year in an undergraduate or master’s program are preferred
