Position: Financial Analyst
FLSA Status: Salary Exempt
This position reports to the CFO and is an integral team member providing cross-functional analytical support as well as partnering with the Controller ensuring GL integrity and clarity in financial performance. The Financial Analyst will influence strategic objectives and create value through analysis of operating performance and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
This will be a highly visible position that also partners with the sales & operation teams to assist with the development of initiatives, business planning, performance measurement, decision support, reporting, and process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CFO to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Coordinate efforts with the Controller ensuring GL integrity and clarity in financial performance as well as timely dissemination of financial reports
- Learn and champion the Great Game of Business paradigm
- Assist with the creation of the financial plan and forecast
- Provide monthly variance analysis identifying opportunities and assisting the business owners to improve forecasting accuracy
- Create financial models to analyze various business opportunities and cost savings initiatives
- Develop key performance indicators and trend analyses with recommendations to create value
- Cross-functional analytical support using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
- Assess current accounting operations providing recommendations for improvement and assist with implementing new processes
- Supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Preferred Skills:

90-Day Goals:
- Learn accounting functions in NetSuite
- Complete GGOB training and forecast weekly G&A related costs
- Assist with the month-end close process and financial reporting
- Validate SOPs ensuring complete documentation for each key Finance function
- Integral contributor to implementing process improvements
