Heartview Foundation, a non-profit substance use disorder treatment center, is expanding and searching for a full-time, part-time or contracted Licensed Addiction Counselor to join our team as a telehealth employee. The individual will provide substance use disorder evaluations for our residential admissions, which occur Monday-Friday. Must be currently licensed in the state of North Dakota.
Great communication and organizational skills are necessary. The individual will need to have a secure location to complete evaluations that are HIPPA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliant as well as a reliable internet connection. Proficiency in technology, including electronic health record, is a must. Preference for this position will be given to those individuals residing outside of the traditional Heartview service areas (Cando, Bismarck and Dickinson).
Qualifications: Minimum of three years of experience as a Licensed Addiction Counselor completing drug and alcohol evaluations, diagnosing, and utilizing ASAM criteria when making Level of Care recommendations and currently licensed in the state of North Dakota.
