Description

  

Job Summary: 

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new leads, reviving underperforming accounts, managing the on-boarding process for new customers, and assisting with other marketing and sales efforts to increase revenue. The ISR will be responsible for escalated issues or concern, ongoing training.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  

  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities, decision makers, & other relevant information to begin sales process for potential customer accounts; and communicate those leads with appropriate team members 
  • Generate revenue by soliciting and servicing new and underperforming accounts
  • Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead and ensure follow-up by passing leads to OSR with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, etc. 
  • Serve as a secondary agent to the Sales queue and adhere to queue procedures, must maintain an average of 20 or more OB sales calls per day
  • Manage customer quotes/purchase orders from order entry through expected delivery and handle concerns as they arise. 
  • Must maintain departmental KPI standards individually as well as team target
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to enhance company and brand loyalty 
  • Daily batch review, backorders and quotes to address and/or escalate action on delinquent or potentially delinquent orders, including timely communication with customers
  • Maximize sales opportunities by identifying and understanding customer needs, checking customer buying history, promoting new products, and educating customers on product solutions
  • Develop daily/weekly call and/or email schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of assigned accounts and/or prospects and report on progress at specified intervals
  • Able to cross reference other product brands
  • Maintain and expand CRM database within assigned territory
  • Execute and manage customer onboarding experience and report on effectiveness
  • Make sales calls, deliver, and assist with sales/product demonstrations, and participate in customer training events as required 
  • Work with and support OSR & Sales Operations Manager to reach targeted goals
  • Support marketing efforts by promoting and/or participating in tradeshows, promotions, and other sales/marketing events 
  • Perform customer service-related tasks as needed 
  • Communicate and collaborate across departments to fulfill strategic sales objectives
  • Attend and participate in periodic sales training as needed or required
  • Perform other duties as required 


Requirements

  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong sales aptitude, highly motivated, results oriented
  • Able to constantly enhance one’s sales and technical knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and Power Point
  • Self-motivated  with excellent time management skills
  • Confidence, persistence, and an outgoing personality
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Experience  with an ERP system required. NetSuite experience preferred.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • BA/BS degree and/or 4+ years previous sales experience preferred

Functional Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing 
  • Ability to view computer for extended period 
  • Frequent and/or repetitive alpha/numeric keyboarding
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 60lbs (sample displays)
Salary Description
$20-$22/hr. Approx $45,000yr
