Heartview Foundation, a non-profit substance use disorder treatment center is searching for a caring, dedicated and motivated Recovery Coach to join our team. The right individual for this position will work closely with our clinical team to provide hope and education on community resources to aid patients involved in substance abuse recovery, including using their lived experience.
Skills: The individual will need to promote recovery and wellness and be open to medication-assisted treatment and harm reduction concepts. Great communication and organizational skills are necessary. An understanding and appreciation of the needs of a culturally diverse patient population is also required, as is the ability to honor recovery coaching ethics and confidentiality. Knowledge of community resources and the ability to connect with those resources is expected. Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered car. Individuals work with the same gender, thus applicants may be chosen based on client need/caseload.
