Orchard NEO is a church planting program located in Northeast Ohio. In partnership with Christ Community Chapel (CCC), Orchard NEO aims at raising up men passionate about reaching Northeast Ohio through local churches. Orchard NEO works alongside these planters to realize God’s vision for their role in this mission, training them to be as effective as possible. To accomplish our goal, we are committed to identifying, training, supporting, and deploying as many church planters as it takes to reach Northeast Ohio. 

Position Description: The Church Plant Worship Leader will be responsible for the worship and production of the new church plant over a 2-year program. The selected candidate will work with the Pastor Resident and Orchard NEO coaches to develop the worship and production services of their churches.  This is a part-time position and reports to the Director of Orchard NEO.


  • Prepares, leads, and facilitates worship music and related production needs for each Sunday morning. 
  • Responds to communications from staff and volunteers in a timely manner. 
  • Works with the pastor to schedule a regular meeting time. 
  • Be present at all outreach opportunities. 
  • Schedules and utilizes PCO to confirm relevant volunteer roles. 
  • Actively involves others to build a growing worship and production team. 
  • Works with Orchard coach to facilitate outreach opportunities involving music. 
  • Meets and trains with applicable CCC worship leader for worship development purposes. 
  • Attends monthly CCC staff meetings and participates in staff theological training as directed.  


  • Be in a dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience leading worship with proficiency on an instrument in a church or ministry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills in developing volunteers.
  • Ability to inspire people to worship through music.
  • Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with limited resources.
  • Able to adapt and change based on the needs of the church.
  • Coachable and ability to work with different personalities.
  • Has a heart for and desire to reach non-Christians.
