Environmental Heavy Equipment Operator
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Environmental Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other machinery in compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in site preparation, grading, excavation, and land clearing activities for environmental projects.
- Follow environmental regulations and company policies to minimize ecological impact.
- Collaborate with project managers, environmental specialists, and other team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Document equipment usage, maintenance, and site activities accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in environmental or construction settings.
- Valid heavy equipment operator’s license or certification.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to land and water management.
- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, maps, and technical instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
