The Customer Success Specialist is an entry level role which will provide Account Executives/Managers (AE/AM) administrative support in day-to-day account services for existing and potential clients. This role will develop a high level of engagement with AE/AM, as well as deliver quality support and service with existing and potential customers. This role is critical to the success of the sales team and will collaborate across all parts of the organization.
· Provide administrative support to AE/AM to include research, CRM data entry, calendaring, travel, reporting and contract creation.
· Collaborate and work cross functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing colleagues to build a solid comprehension of the Company’s products. Maintain product knowledge and ability to articulate XKL network solution products and advantages they bring.
· Research prospective accounts and conduct cold calling to generate leads.
· Be responsive to customers’ inquiries/needs throughout the entire sales cycle, providing administrative and backup support to AE/AM.
· Update and maintain the accuracy of CRM data with customer information and engagement details
· Participate in industry events to grow knowledge, as well as network with prospective customers.
· Associate degree
· Two or more years’ experience of demonstrated success in a sales support role
· MUST be able to drive/travel as needed for customer projects and/or industry events
· Self-starter with a track record of successful support of multiple sales executives
· Demonstrated capacity to multi-task, pivot as needed and prioritize time effectively
· Operationally savvy. You know how to troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate internally to find the answers, and build an improved process as a result
· Exceptional communication skills in both technical and non-technical settings
· Critical thinking and good judgement
· Data-driven
· Effective computer skills with experience using database systems / CRM
NICE TO HAVES:
· Experience in the telecom industry
· Some knowledge of networking hardware
· Experience with word processing and spreadsheet software
· Ability to work with a variety of individuals from diverse background
