We are looking for a highly motivated, growth driven Employee Benefits Account Manager. This position will use their professionalism, client-orientated skills, and attention to details to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Essential Functions
- Assist in development of open enrollment kits and materials
- Participate in and create materials for client strategy sessions, planning meetings and client issue meetings with account team
- Compile data and assemble Requests for Proposal (RFP) for various lines of coverage.
- Evaluate RFP responses and create qualitative and quantitative assessments of each
- Implement new cases by following a case checklist which may involve familiarizing clients with their current benefit plans
- Communicate and assist in implementing compliance and/or regulatory changes with clients (including COBRA, ERISA, HSA, HRA, Flex, HIPAA, etc.)
- Review and correct SPDs, Wrap documents, and Certifications from carriers
- Have a full understanding of group medical and ancillary programs
- Prepare renewal and provided options after receiving work direction from Risk Advisor or Account Executive
- Work on claims issues, benefit and coverage questions, open enrollments, compliance questions, and other benefit related questions
- Work with colleagues to manage workloads, build and maintain good vendor and client relationships
- Perform all actions relating to customers and companies in a manner that will avoid issues involving potential errors and omissions
Desired Qualifications
- Have active Life Health and Accident License
- Ability to understand and work through automation systems and workflows
- Education: bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in employee benefits and insurance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Proficient with customer management systems and record keeping

- Ability to read standard typed documents
- Ability to travel

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm CST core hours
