SUMMARY
Northern Tier Counseling is also a teaching clinic! We hire bachelor level clinicians that are currently enrolled in a graduate program for psychology, social work or any other degree in human services. We provide clinical supervision by LPC and LCSW therapists, group and individual consultation, clinical partnerships, and paid internships for candidates passionate about the practice of therapy.

What Will I do?
· Participate in an established training program to support your development as an ESFT clinician, attend and participate in appropriate conferences, meeting, training sessions and treatment sessions as they relate to the families
· Responsible for screening, assessing, treatment planning, and after care discharge planning for assigned families.
· Conduct family, individual and group therapy and case management goals will be linked directly to the plan, treatment plan reviews and case notes
· Establish a professional and collaborative relationship with assigned families
· Provide 24-hour emergency services 7 days per week, as scheduled, and provide back up for other team members when appropriate
· Through collaboration and/or supervision, ensure the involvement of the mental health worker in the assessment, treatment, planning, treatment delivery, relationship with the family and discharge planning
· Arrange for relief services as required by the treatment plan
· Present, with the mental health worker, the progress/status of the plan at staffing
· Responsible to the program supervisor for program statistics and other needed documents, which may include weekly productivity reports and other basic administrative duties
· Utilize NTC’S Electronic Health Records (E.H.R) during tenure of employment
What will I need?
· Currently enrolled in a graduate program in psychology, social work, nursing, education or any other graduate degree in the field of human services
· Two years’ experience in like system or be a licensed RN with five years’ of psychiatric experience plus certification by the office of Mental Health as a Family Based Worker or enrollment in an OMH approved Family Based Training Program
· Bachelor’s in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing or any degree in the field of human services plus a certification by the office of Mental Health as a Family Based Mental Health Worker
The Family Based Mental Health Clinician is a professional member of the Family Based team and is responsible for the provision of services primarily through the use of the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy Model and additional modalities and interventions as appropriate. Sessions are to be scheduled at days and times that are most conducive to family schedules and needs.
