Description

The Princess Anne Country Club is looking for experienced Line Cooks. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a scratch kitchen, enjoys working in a busy environment, is capable of taking direction, and multi-tasking efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to challenge themselves in a unique setting with unlimited educational opportunities.


Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and fellow cooks to prepare meals

Maintain accurate food inventories

Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures

Rotate stock items as per established procedures

Setting up and restocking stations with necessary supplies

Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely manner

Maintain a positive and professional approach with Team members and Members


Our beautiful, 105 acre property features an 18-hole golf course, driving range, 11 tennis courts, two pickleball courts, fitness center, casual restaurant, aquatics complex and full-service clubhouse that includes two dining rooms, five event spaces, lounges/locker rooms for ladies and gentlemen, Kids Club 3800 babysitting and The Reef youth lounge.

Our team enjoys two complimentary meals (lunch and dinner) Tuesday through Saturday and lunch on Sundays, as well as two team appreciation socials each year (summer and holiday) and holiday bonuses.

Requirements

2+ years cooking experience

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Able to read and follow standardized recipes

Strong knowledge of proper food handling practices

Candidates offered the position will be subject to a pre-employment background check.

Pay rate: based on experience
