Position Overview:
VyncaCare is seeking an experienced and driven individual with proven business development success in cultivating strategic partnerships that generate patient referrals and business, engaging directly with seriously ill patients to enroll them for palliative care services. This person will also be accountable for leading a team of enrollment specialists and outreach liaisons and ensuring their success in achieving targets.
The Director will work closely with the sales, marketing, and clinical operations and is expected to collaborate with leaders across the organization. This individual must have a growth mindset and be adept at designing strategic programs. It’s also critically important to establish KPIs, forecast performance, and achieve targets.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for growing the patient census across new and existing markets leveraging a variety of enrollment pathways.
- Provide strategic direction and managerial support to the team members.
- Provide Census Forecast with reasonable accuracy for the next 90 days.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders in the organization to ensure that the enrollment team is well versed and educated on care delivery models. Oversee the enrollment process from initial referral to outreach and enrollment.
- Experience directly managing a sales team, operations team, building out marketing and sales plans and/or sales CRM system experience.
- Understanding of Medicare Advantage Programs
- Proven history of superior sales results, sales operational support and sales management aptitude
- Ensure consistent communication with new individuals on service that aligns with organizational goals and scope of services.
- Develop and implement an enrollment strategy in partnership with executive leadership to realize planned census targets and maintain accurate projections of upcoming census changes.
- Lead the development, collection, and integration of business metrics that track the performance of enrollment functions, teams, and individuals to enable data-driven insights and decision making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of incentive plans that align team member performance to business objectives.
- Maintain company culture through modeling core values of the organization and ensuring staff understand values and mission.
- Responsible development and maintenance of a training program that ensures all admission and enrollment staff members understand and support enrollment and intake processes.
- Must possess a high-level of integrity and strong work ethic with the flexibility and tenacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

- Assume and lead other duties as assigned in support growth.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum
- 10+ years experience in healthcare, a health network, managed care, or healthcare technology organization or related sector strongly preferred
- Ability to work completely through telework with excellent connectivity
- Ability to travel occasionally for internal leadership meetings and external partner meetings.
- Ability to take initiative and lead interdisciplinary teams.
- Executive presence with excellent oral (in-person and telephone) and written communication skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills demonstrated through consistently clear, cordial, timely, constructive, and focused communications.
- Proficient in Salesforce, MS Office, and Google Suite.
- Current driver's license and insurance.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred
- Supervisory and leadership experience with preferred experience in hospice or palliative care and growing enrollment.
- Experience developing a growing enrollment and admission service.
- Experience with healthcare regulations.
- Record of leadership in outreach and admissions in hospice or palliative care or closely related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, a health network, managed care or related sector strongly preferred
- Experience with Value Based Care provider preferred
- Experience working in a startup/building new teams a plus
Position Location, Reporting, and Travel Requirements
- This position is virtual/remote.
- Occasional travel may be required to perform job duties, attend training, professional conferences, or company events.
- Evidence of compliance with CDC recommendations for COVID-19 and other vaccinations is preferred to support the ability to perform job duties.
Hours and Benefits Eligibility
- Candidates able to work 40 hours per week are preferred.
- Individuals working full-time (generally considered 40 or more hours per week) are eligible to participate in our competitive benefits program.
