The Tenders and Contract Specialist Role has been created due to business growth and will sit within the Supply Chain team. The role will be key in the ongoing development of our supply chain function. Reflecting the central role that contracting plays in driving our business growth, as well as controlling risks, your skill and experience will be leveraged to review contract terms and conditions to balance risk appetite and manage subcontractor and vendor relationships.
The role will report to the Head of Supply Chain Development.
Your Responsibilities
- Understanding our clients’ needs and how the business is developing
- Managing the NDA process across the function
- Drafting and issuing ITTs & RFQs to support client projects and product developments. Managing the associated procurement process up to and beyond contract award
- Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and prices within delegated powers for procurement activity with a view to delivering against project plans
- Undertake contract/team administration as required
- Maintain professional standards and provide support to the commercial team working on the preparation, submission and review of customer tenders
- Effectively manage the contracts within your responsibility by building strong working relationships with contractors, suppliers and colleagues where necessary
- Assist in setting targets and objectives and to support and monitor achievement against these, ensuring supply chain Management Information is accurate, up to date and submitted on time
- Actively contribute to the development of tools, processes and procedures. Administer the procurement process and toolset.
- Perform effective contract management obligations on time and within budget

- 10-20% Domestic and International Travel
- Position is based in UK or Berlin, Germany
- Two days per week attendance in office required

What Experience & Education is Required?
- For US: Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, legal, or equivalent
- Experience of balancing terms and conditions to manage risk
- 3+ years of experience working within a procurement and/or contracts management role
