Key Account Manager, Metrology Products, East Coast:

The role of this Key Account Manager is to continually and consistently increase our metrology instrument customer base by collaborating with customers and prospects to address their optical metrology needs. You will strategically oversee customer communications to ensure long term customer partnerships and build upon Optikos’ reputation as the Optical Engineering Experts. 



What you will bring to the team:

· Effective listening - a definite plus when negotiating, influencing, and selling to all levels of an organization, and critical when ensuring that customers are matched to the most appropriate instrumentation.

· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, both written and in presentations.

· Ability to identify all key stakeholders and decisionmakers critical to successfully converting Opportunities into Orders.

· Enthusiasm to drive sales of industry-leading optical metrology equipment by identifying new markets and understanding customer needs.

· Excellent attention to detail and time management and extensive experience working in a multidisciplinary environment. 


Requirements

· Identify new customers, respond to enquiries, write and submit quotes and proposals for the sale of our optical metrology instruments.

· Assume the role of liaison between customers and product experts. 

· Manage, maintain, and track data in the company’s CRM system.

· Organize customer development road trips, attend tradeshows, conferences and make other visits (30–50% travel required)


Qualifications & Skills: 

· Bachelor's degree in optics-related field (Engineering, Applied Science, Physics) required. Sufficient technical background to be able to learn and understand the technical aspects of our metrology products.

· Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated sales growth success in a customer facing role.

· Experience using CRM systems: account correspondence, capturing new product requirements, leads, ongoing project activities, opportunities, order pipeline, pulse of the customer, sales funnel, territory sales forecast.
