As a Transportation Engineer at Sebago, you will:

  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction drawings using industry standard guidelines
  • Develop  design plans for geometrics of roadways and intersections, closed and  open drainage systems, pavement design, pavement markings and signage,  and multimodal facilities
  • Development of conceptual plans and feasibility analysis
  • Prepare contract specifications and cost estimates
  • Oversee construction administration efforts for projects, and
  • Provide technical mentoring of project staff.

Requirements

We know people come to the table with varying skills and  experiences.  If you have all or just some of the following, we would  love to chat with you.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3 years minimum in experience in Transportation Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required, or ability to obtain within a year
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD, InRoads/Open Roads or Civil 3D, Hydra Flow
  • Strong communication skills – I know, we all ask for that
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and diversity
  • Experience working with state or federal transportation authorities is a plus
