Victorian Village in Homer Glen, offers a full range of services including retirement living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and more. Victorian Village is owned and operated by Providence Life Services, a faith based, non-profit senior living organization that has been serving area seniors and their families for over 100 years. Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays is a key role in the success of this beautiful five-star community.


Sales and Marketing Coordinator is an integral part of our leadership team and oversees all aspects of the sales efforts for the community including leading our Assisted Living and Memory Care sales department. This position is responsible for developing the sales, marketing, and public relations programs and systems for the community. The CRM promotes a positive community image, meets sales and occupancy goals, and ensures a smooth and enjoyable moving process for future residents. The CRM also serves as the ambassador for the community to build and maintain strategic relationships with constituents and stakeholders.


Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the community’s overall marketing efforts.
  • Meet budget and exceed census in independent living, assisted living and memory care.
  • Develop and maintain productive, cooperative relationships and communication with the residents of Victorian Village, it’s leadership team, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with sales staff to define short and long-term sales and marketing initiatives and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales and occupancy progress.
  • Develop and manage policies, practices, and procedures to achieve sales results.
  • Lead sales presentations to defined community, prospects, and referral partner groups.
  • Work cooperatively with operations staff to develop, implement and execute all areas pertaining to marketing and sales.
  • Train and lead Sales team on corporate sales philosophy, sales methodology, sales procedures and policies, Customer Relationship Management, CRM expectations, the principles of prospect centered selling and one on one relationship-based selling.
  • Develop a culture of high performance and maintain a positive, encouraging attitude towards sales staff development
  • Review sales staff performance regularly and ensure sales team members focus is entirely on making new sales and creating revenue by spending increased time in the selling zone through ongoing evaluation and coaching
  • Ensures all sales tools are being utilized effectively by the sales department.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
  • Complete Competitive Analysis at least annually
  • Support, uphold, and maintain the Mission and Philosophy of Providence Life Services and promote PLS communities in a positive manner in all business interactions within and outside the community.
  • Demonstrates loyalty and pride in Victorian Village and Providence Life Services.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Ensure sales staff remains current on CRM and PLS lead based management standards
  • Attend and participate in in-services, educational classes, and on-the-job training programs as directed
  • Attend and participate in workshops and seminars as approved
  • Lead events to promote Victorian Village and Providence Life Services.  
  • Manage the implementation of the department budget and monitor expenses
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Preferably five or more years of proven sales experience in senior living sales.
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of effective communication, sales, education, and community relations as they relate to senior living
  • Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and experience using a CRM
  • Self-starter, good team player who enjoys working with older adults
  • Ability to show empathy and possess excellent listening skills
  • Experience leading and motivating a sales team is a plus
