Under general supervision, the Electrical Technician will perform skilled electrical work, including trouble shooting, programing and maintaining complex control systems found on amusement rides, including both PLC and relay logic based systems. The Electrical Controls Technician will read complex schematics, and at times need to draw up new schematics. Electrical Technicians will work on and around high voltage systems. The Electrical Technician will work on high voltage distribution equipment and be able to troubleshoot system faults. The Electrical Controls Technician is also required to understand and wire complex control circuits. Work and duties also include, but is not limited to, electrical repairs and installations, maintenance of park buildings and other park facilities.
