The Manager, Web and Digital Marketing understands the importance digital communications, marketing, customer service, and brand fidelity plays in meeting the goals of higher education.
This individual has a solid grasp of the opportunities for enrollment, events, and information dissemination in the digital marketing space. They are familiar with industry strategies and tactics to amplify efforts across current and emerging digital channels. They should be comfortable collecting, analyzing, and reporting digital metrics to college leadership for optimizing efforts that support strategic initiatives. A key member of the Marketing and Communications team, the Manager, Web and Digital Marketing will collaborate and act as a strategic partner with key staff and faculty across campus. The Manager, Web and Digital Marketing will help support enrollment efforts and may be required to support enrollment by assisting at a few major events scheduled on nights and weekends. They will also promote the college’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) statement where applicable.
Undergraduate degree required (MBA degree preferred) in marketing, business, digital technologies or related field, with equivalent professional experience considered. Five to seven years of experience in digital marketing, digital advertising, and digital engagement and an understanding of current trends and best practices. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal writing and communication skills. Must possess strong problem-solving skills, be a self-starter who is deadline driven, and manage multiple priorities. Strong knowledge of effective digital marketing practices. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. Expertise in Content Management Systems, specifically WordPress essential.
