Description

 Opening July 2023! Heartview Dickinson, a non-profit substance use disorder treatment center, is searching for Licensed Addiction Counselor(s), including the supervisory position of the clinical lead, to join our team. The right individual for this position will work closely with a team of professionals to provide clinical services to patients involved in substance abuse treatment. 


The individual will need to be open to medication-assisted treatment and harm reduction concepts and be willing to do individual and group therapy as well as evaluations. Great communication, organizational skills, and utilization of the electronic health record are necessary. An understanding and appreciation of the needs of a culturally diverse patient population is also required.  If dually licensed, you may be expected to provide mental health services as well. You will be expected to rotate on-call, including holidays.


QUALIFICATIONS: A counseling degree is required along with the appropriate licensure as an Addiction Counselor in the state of North Dakota. Heartview will provide training and mentoring to the right candidate that are newly licensed. Dually licensed individuals encouraged to apply. CPR/First Aid certification (willing to train).
