• Be responsible to schedule and reschedule all imagining procedures using the Radiology Information System
• In charge of patient registration, verification of patient demographics, reviewing pts chart to ensure accuracy and completion.
• Ensure accurate entries in RIS, and prompt scheduling of all modalities.
• Modify and update billing, clinical and appropriate information in the RIS.
• Confirm appointments and provide instructions to patients for their procedures
• Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phoneCollaborate with supervisory staff,      nursing, physician s and technicians to facilitate an efficient work flow.
• Completes other duties and projects as assigned

• Communication skills to converse clearly over the telephone and in person
• Organization and time management to manage a variety of tasks effectively
• Attention to detail to schedule patients correctly and communicate scheduling difficulties with providers
• Technological skills, such as using word processing and spreadsheet programs to track data
• Interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients who may be upset or stressed
• Bilingual a plus (Chinese speaking preferred)
