Description

Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns, LLP is seeking a fourth to seventh-year associate with significant and substantive experience in health law, corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a strong and demonstratable background involving one or more of the following: healthcare M&A, including private equity transactions with health systems; business entity legal matters; health law compliance matters, including federal and Florida fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, self-referral, and fee-splitting laws; professional regulation and discipline, AHCA, , and state licensure laws; federal and state patient confidentiality laws, and cyber security issues; physician, medical practice, and midlevel professional representation (including start-ups and alternative practice models); behavioral health; DME;  pharmacy; laboratory; managed care contracting (FFS, capitation, and value-based); and document drafting, review, and negotiation.


The candidate must be (or in the process of being) admitted to practice in Florida and willing to relocate in the Tampa Bay area.
