Maintain proper irrigation on all grounds; operate and care for golf course maintenance equipment; maintain golf course grounds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Designs, implements, and maintains mechanical and electrical components of complex irrigation system (Toro). 
• Repairs equipment associated with irrigation.
• Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment associated with irrigation.
• Maintains records on all equipment maintenance associated with irrigation.
• Maintains inventory of parts needed for irrigation equipment.
• Irrigates all grounds as needed.
• Performs special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Conducts all work in compliance with OSHA standards, guidelines, personal protective equipment etc.
• Complies with all Resort policies and procedures.
• Operates and maintains golf course equipment when necessary.
• Follows all state and local safety and environmental standards.
• Other duties as directed.

• Extensive knowledge of turf, soil, fertilizers, pesticides, golf course equipment and irrigation technology.
• Possess strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and long hours when necessary.
• Keen attention to detail and strong sense of urgency. 
• Proven work experience as an irrigation tech.
• Knowledge of irrigation and electrical timer systems.
